UAE is celebrating Golden Jubilee year, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has declared the year 2021 the ‘Year of the 50th’.

The ‘Year of the 50th’ will start from 6 April 2021 to 31 March 2022.

A year-long program has been launched to celebrate the Golden Jubilee in UAE with initiatives, activities, and grand celebrations that will be governed by the UAE Golden Jubilee Committee which is under the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, with Her Highness Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as Deputy Chairwoman.

JUBILEE CELEBRATION ACTIVITIES WILL BE BUILT ON FOUR MAIN PILLARS:

• Launching the Year of the 50th in the spirit of celebration for all those who call this nation home
• Inviting the nation to reflect on the values and achievements of the past in honour of our founding fathers
• Inspiring youth to imagine the next 50 years, supporting them with tools to create the future
• Championing long-term initiatives and impactful policies to empower citizens and residents to do their part
